Berbere

Berbere has been used in many dishes to give an aromatic warm flavor to Ethiopian Cuisine. This authentic smoky spice is made from more than 8 different wild-growing herbs in the high mountain of Ethiopia. Our Berbere blend contains Cayenne pepper, Fresh Ginger, Red Onion, fresh garlic, Basil, Fenugreek, Balck seed, sea Salt, Ajwain seed, Korerima (Ethiopian Kordamum).

Mekelesha (magic spice)

This Spice blend has been used as the "magic touch" in Ethiopian cooking. Mekelesha is an aromatic spice that contains Ajwain seed, Korerima (Ethiopian Cardamom), Cinnamon, Clove, Cardamom, and Nutmeg seed. Because of its strong aroma, it should be used in small amounts.

Turmeric

Turmeric is a spice/superfood that comes from the root of the Turmeric root. In Ethiopia, Turmeric has been used as a basic food coloring in day-to-day cooking. Today, Turmeric is known as one of the superfoods that have many health benefits for your body. Curcumin is the main active ingredient in Turmeric. It has a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek contains a variety of nutrients that are known to be beneficial according to the USDA, including iron, magnesium, manganese, and copper. Most of the health benefits of Fenugreek are due to the presence of Saponins and Fibes. This seed is primarily used as a superfood blend.

Black Spice

Black Spice is used as a final touch for a stew to give a warm exotic flavor to Ethiopian Cusine. This spice contains Black seed, Sea Salt, Fenugreek, Fresh Garlic, and Krerima ( Ethiopian Cardamom).

Ajwain

Ajwain seed is one of the traditional spices used in Ethiopian cuisine mix with other spices to flavor food and baked goods.

Besides its aromatic flavor for cooking Ajwain seed is used for traditional medicine in Ethiopia.

This seed is rich in fiber, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants.

Because of the strong flavor, Ajwain seed should be consumed in a very small amount at a time.

People have been using Black seed as a natural remedy for thousands of years.

It contains Thymoquinone, which is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound.
